How do you track sales from affiliates?
Every affiliate is provided an unique URL which contains the affiliate's ID. The URL is of the form http://www.1stSearchRanking.com/t.cgi?xxxx where "xxxx" is the ID. When someone clicks on that URL, a cookie is placed in the person's computer which identifies the affiliate who had referred the person. Then, when the person orders from us (either then and there or after a few days, weeks, months, or even years), our software reads the cookie from the person's computer, gets the referring affiliate's ID and credits the affiliate for the sale.
Suffice it to say that we do everything we can to ensure that affiliates are credited for the sales that they generate.
Yes, you will. We use cookies to track the customers who have been referred to us by affiliates. Whenever a customer is sent to us by you, a cookie is placed in her computer to identify her as your customer. If she doesn't order immediately, but orders later, you will get the commission for the order (even if she has come to our site directly on the second visit instead of through your affiliate URL) as long as she has not come to our site through another affiliate's link during that period.
The reason we are only able to offer a 10% commission on the first purchase of the Pay Per Click Package is that we do not make any money on the first purchase of this package. The $500 that we initially charge for the Pay Per Click Package is just about enough to cover the labor costs involved in optimizing a site for the search engines.
We make our money on the Pay Per Click Package not on the first purchase but when the customer keeps on renewing the package indefinitely. That is why we are able to offer a higher 20% commission to affiliates for each such renewal.

How much money can I expect to earn by promoting your affiliate program?
It is difficult for us to predict any concrete figure. A lot depends on to what extent you are successful in promoting our service. The more work you put in, the more you can expect to earn. It also depends on how much traffic your site currently enjoys, how many subscribers your newsletter has, how extensively you promote our service in your web site and newsletter, and so on.
However, if you are willing to put in the hard work that is necessary in order to be a successful affiliate, you can expect a substantial increase in your current income. This is primarily because of the fact that with our program, you have the ability to earn a substantial amount of residual income when the client subscribes to our maintenance plan or when the client renews his/her subscription to the Pay Per Click Package.
How often and when will I get paid?
All affiliate commission payments are made through PayPal. The payment will be sent to you by the 10th day of every month for the commissions earned during the previous month, as long as the total commissions due to you is at least $50. If the total commissions due to you is less than $50, it will be carried forward to the next month.

Yes, we do.You will be able to track the number of click-throughs and the number of sales generated and the amount of commissions earned in real time. Also, whenever you generate a sale, or whenever an affiliate signs up under you, or whenever an affiliate who has signed up under you generates a sale, you will receive an email from us.
Are all persons eligible to become affiliates?
We do not accept affiliates who have sites which promote spam as described in our terms and conditions, pornographic material, violence, illegal activities such as software piracy, or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age. Apart from that, generally anyone can become an affiliate.
Can anyone from any country sign up as an affiliate? Or is this limited to U.S. residents only?
Yes, the affiliate program is open to residents of all countries. However, all payments will be made through PayPal. Hence, if you do not live in the U.S., please ensure that your country is supported by PayPal. To view the list of countries supported by PayPal, please click here.

No, you don't. However, having your web site will definitely help you generate more sales.

It costs nothing at all. Signing up for our affiliate program is and will always remain free.

No, unfortunately, you can't. You can't accept orders on behalf of other customers - the customers must directly order from us. In order to ensure that we are able to provide the kind of customer service that we are known for, we need to be in control of every step of the ordering process.
No, unfortunately, you can't. Your customers must order directly from us by coming to our site. They must always be aware at every stage that it is we who are optimizing their sites. We will always be in direct contact with the customer for executing their project.
If you would prefer to offer our services to your customers without your customers coming to know that it is we who have optimized their sites, then, instead of signing up for our affiliate program, you should contact us for an outsourcing arrangement. In this case, we would charge you the normal rates for our services without any discounts, and you can charge your customers a higher amount, at your discretion.
